Great morning, it’s a great day to have a great day. Be great or don’t participate. Never take your failures personal because if you do that fear will keep you stagnant before you even try. On the other side of fear is a blessing with your name on it. Sometimes the only talent you need to reach your goals is to JUST KEEP GOING NO MATTER WHAT. Been a long 18 months. A lot of ups and downs but that’s part of the journey, failed the entrance exam 3x, had to find another paramedic school, trained 6 months for a half marathon and failed to finish the race at 12.6 miles, lost my auntie, lost a couple friends, sacrificed a lot, missed 2 family reunions, never had a bachelor party, missed a trip to Columbia and Thailand 😩 a lot of blessings too, faced my test anxiety only took registry once to pass, bought a house, working on a second, got engaged, and many more! The point of this is i don’t know if you’ve been having a rough week or even a rough year up to this point but my only advice is to just keep on keeping on. When you do that you can’t lose and temporary defeats turn into victories. The road may not go as planned but the road you didn’t expect always has a bigger reason than just the destination. Special thanks to the best instructor ever Brian Bugby who spent 100 of extra hours with us outside of class thanks to Toledo ER nurses helping me during clinicals. And shoutout to Monika with a k for putting up with me only seeing me once or twice a week between school and work and NEVER COMPLAINING once, i love you beyond words 😘 my greatest blessing is my team. I’m beyond excited to start this journey as a paramedic. Still seems surreal. #blessed #365daysofhappiness #TheProcessisbetterthanthePrize there’s ALWAYS opportunity in the midst of adversity!
